Since I was thirteen Hanging out in a house in the tree I knew you liked me My heart was pounding Always wondering When you smiled at me If I should take a chance We're still so called friends At age sixteen Too big for the old tree My thoughts were such a mess Why were you with him? My stomach turning I was still learning How bad was my timing The stars were shining I stumbled my words It was all a blur I felt so helpless I learned my lesson CHORUS All the things I've seen But never you and me Only in my heart Tearing me apart Where does your heart stand? When you hold my hand I know you feel the same But we're just so called friends When you said yes to me Date number one of three I took my chances Just like I planned it So many meals A lot more dances You helped me learn Exactly what love is Loves such a mystery But so was you and me I'm happy now We're more than so called friends CHORUS
2.
Good morning How are you feeling? Did you have a good night Or did the bed bugs have a good bite? Hey here the coffee is steaming And the eggs and bagel are fresh I tell you right now there is nothing better But if you hurry maybe you can Come with me Let's play hide and seek Until the sun is gone Let's have some fun. Hey here everything is set up You didn't have to lift a finger And you thought you had to labor But don't let mom do you favors You know what I mean Do you know? Hey here everything is set up You didn't have to lift a finger And you thought you had to labor But don't let mom do you favors Come with me Let's play the guitar and keys Travel the world being free We have a situation right now You just don't realize how serious it is How serious it is for you to understand How to contemplate reality

Early morning, on a dry, hot July You set out for another lonely walk outside You meant to ask her to please come with you But she meant to stay at home all night You felt the plunge but like always you stuffed it The gem that narcissists love that’s called neglect As often happened, you broke down tears But you stood up and helped it fall to its grave CHORUS Cowboy boots on, bandana tied on Belt strapped on, buckle a little dull But it’s okay, it’s a good life Forced to live the American away You are forced to play this game It ain’t right and it’s out of whack It’s why you take so many rides In the back of the family truck You felt the plunge but like always you stuffed it The gem that narcissists love that’s called neglect As often happened, you broke down tears But you stood up and helped it fall to its grave Someone darn fool will try and save you Shame your boots are stained from the crap you’re in You’re hurting but ain’t got the first darn clue And like your folks, you gotta live your sins CHORUS
4.
Like a glutton for punishment I’ve kept coming Back again and again day after day, to no end To lose another scrap, I don’t have You are not the boss of me, I said drifting away Upon a cloud wishing I was someplace Someplace else, some known place great Oh, to be like Einstein, but with a Ford truck And a jug of dark ale As I’ve always fallen short, fallen short of the mark Head in the clouds and in books less talk more words Speaking but never really being heard CHORUS Excuse the cliché, man Take every game as it comes After all, isn’t life a game I ask, “Whom do I have to thank For this prize of second place That pays no money and it makes no sense Clocking in and clocking out Where do I go at night I’m in the gutter sleeping as the coppers race by with sirens red like eyes No worries, they ain’t looking for me There is a fight just at the bar I had my last, last night CHORUS Excuse the cliché, man Take every game as it comes – life is a game Whom do I have to thank For this prize of first place That makes up for the money I'll Never make Unless I am with you
5.
I'm taking my chance on love Putting my heart on the busy road I'm taking my chance on love Putting my heart on the busy road But do you feel the same way now Or do you just want someone To be there for you Cause I kinda do that too I strap on my Levi Strauss And take a ride in my dad’s wagon I strap on my Levi Strauss And take a ride in my dad’s wagon I’ve got take out and a six-pack Heading downtown I’m remiss but then I go back before we have a fallout CHORUS So tell me Can you feel the magic when we kiss When I see you smile and it's a sweet sweet bliss When you're gone for days I just can't hold on babe When you're gone for days I just can't hold on babe But do you feel the same way now And I can’t even complain So I just then sit there With a blank look on my face Then the light bulb shines real bright And I feel the urge to try to fly Then the light bulb shines real bright And I feel the urge to try to fly Jump for joy scream real loud I feel happier than I’ve ever realized Cause I can tell you are Whom I wanna spend the rest of my whole life CHORUS Hey here babe I wanna give you this Hey yeah babe Hug me babe Wait wait wait Not too tight I just ate And I need Need my spine It looks real good On your wee hand It shines real bright Like your smile I’m overwhelmed And you seem so too Whatever happens Let’s fix our tune CHORUS
6.
You know I can stay right here by you But if you wish I could stand right over there Either way we’re still here, under the light of the moon It's better than being inside, inside a room CHORUS I can't say I blame you I can't say I blame you for what happened Under the light of the moon I can't say I blame you I can't say I blame you for what happened Please know, my heart belongs to you We can stay friends and shake hands You know seriousness is something we both lack I wish we could just stop this nasty fight Tomorrow it will be alright, like old times You light my life I'll finally say 'cause it's right There is nothing I can do Without you by my side I'll finally tell you Because it hurts to keep it inside I guess now you feel it too Because of your kiss goodnight CHORUS

Get out of bed Go outside take a breath I have come to a sweet, sweet conclusion I just gotta put my cowboy boots on Thanks for waiting Now I’m ready Why do you want me to consent to that? Cheers! No thanks I wanna be me me me There ain't a remedy We’re caught in newsreels It's all a fantasy We’re trapped inside a dream There ain't a remedy A slave in existence From the dark ages ‘til today There’s no change I feel like a fish out of water My first leap was the hardest Grateful when memories Cost something More than you think More than I had ever lost Time to kick up the dust in my pickup truck There ain't a remedy We’re caught in newsreels It's all a fantasy We’re trapped inside a dream There ain't a remedy We’re caught in newsreels It's all a fantasy We’re trapped inside a dream There ain't a remedy

I received a message It’s been thirteen years I’m overwhelmed with fear Should I reply, not so he says Leave the past behind There’s a lot more to life Than this message I come out of cage On an evening that’s white as day Hugging air and eggnog on me Thinking about TV And lost sleep Lucky me for the convenience store But, a bad dude come through the door, And I hit him back with a deal I don’t know this man, but still I try to lay it out on him Lay it out on him good With a you-are-poor attitude And then he said CHORUS Think you can Everybody can, right? Yeah, man I’m going to enjoy this Think you can Everybody can, right? Yeah, man I’m going to enjoy this I’m going to enjoy this Yeah man I’m going to enjoy this And I’m alone again Thinking, but I’ve got things But what’s missing? And I finally come to terms with sleep It has been a long day And I think of those old days Of hard work they’d been better than anything I feared I see a boy and girl Tying some loose ends Inexplicably I think What happened? What the heck is this? The wheel started turning And it kept on going Resurrecting from the past Stopped tucked in the corner Of a now very small heart But I think and That’s enough for me Let me out of here CHORUS See myself wrapped in golden sheets See myself jumping high from trampolines And when I jump off my feet I touch nothing but a sweet reality CHORUS
10.
And morning comes And I stand up Look around Holy cow What is this? Where am I now? This is not my apartment in NYC Where, oh where is my Lamborghini? With keys in hand I depart in a truck, From downtown to uptown, I am a bit stuck In what I thought is Christmas is not, I realize the dude from last night now lives my entire life CHORUS Hold me, hold me, I am falling Hold me, hold me, I need a savior Hold me, hold me, I need him right now Pray I may get his help before my truck dies I say, hey dude, that’s my car Explain to me what that is all about And we take a trip downtown NYC He explains Well, as you might have not expected It’s a glimpse, you don’t remember? You thought you were so cool, had it, had it all And that’s how all this got turned around I’ll have you know CHORUS Well, here you are with a chance, with a chance To fill that hole you’ve got inside To know you don’t have Learn love is forever more So for now look, touch, feel and play Just remember Then you can come home again Just remember Then you can come home again CHORUS
11.
Waking up wasn’t so difficult And I picked up and drove to our neighborhood I knew I wasn’t going to find you there Now, I feel a big hole across my chest And it hurts This is how you must have felt When I left you CHORUS And I try to get through the day Thinking about the message you left me Wondering what you wanted to say So I went to your place You were packing up And getting ready to take off Knowing I loved you once Feeling I can do so again Now that I know how it all could have been Had I not left you heartbroken and in tears Now that I know how it all could have been CHORUS I sit down for a moment Instead I drink my tears This can’t be the moment That I feared Just grant me the moment I took with me Let me tell you what I saw and I felt in a glimpse Just grant me the moment I took from you Let me tell you what I saw and I felt in a glimpse How it could have been
12.
I sleep tonight I sleep tight Knowing you're no longer in my life Daddyloo, is a fool, he can't help me He's never helped me and never will Bright new shoes, I enter the room I'm all you ever need You control you withdraw Avoiding looking inside yourself I never knew, that much is true I'll never get it, I don’t want to So just sit tight while l understand, you want me to To be is a good servant, obey or else Call it, call it what you may It ain't, it ain't what you say I should've known I should've known better Than given you the time you do not deserve Why do you treat me bad When I allow you into my life Daddy's better underground Not knowing what you've become He would be heartbroken To see the monster you have become So just sit tight while l understand, all you want me to To be is a good servant, obey or else CHORUS No one is coming for you tonight It's been some time coming now goodbye I am free and ain't coming for you tonight No one is coming for you tonight Can't you see you are hurting me by wanting me back Where you think I belong By your side around you all the time If I don't come back to you You'll make me pay Even if it's from your grave CHORUS
13.

about

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I've been looking for a different type of sound for awhile as most current music, to my ears, sounds stale. Your music is definitely what I was looking for.” - Robbie Nance, Alien Country Superfan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Liam Marcus Torres is the face and voice of Alien Country. This debut album "Like My Life Depends On It" is an oddity and gem of a solo project. Liam’s natural vocals keep things real and reminds listeners of Dwight Yoakam and Neil Young.

Drawing inspiration from Iron Maiden to Chet Atkins, what makes Alien Country's music unique is how Liam brings more musical intricacies to the songs than mainstream country, and even dares to use unorthodox instruments like the ukulele and Theremin, all while staying true to the familiar heart and soul of country music. Liam states, “Above all, my music is fun and my fans say it makes them happy. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters to me.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Great album! Some very cool tracks." - Hugh Syme, musician and Art Director for The Outlaws, The Allman Brothers, The Band, Brian Setzer and The Stray Cats, Rush, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith and more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Your voice is amazing. You will be a household name one day. I love your music!!...Liam’s music is not only fun, but his lyrics are magical. The album is a fabulous fusion of rock, country and science fiction, in conjunction with strings and things all combined with a voice that is so unique there are just no words." - Eileen Shapiro, Journalist for Jimmy Star’s World ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Sounds good! I like it. All of it. I just think Reality Check is a great song." - Brian Kady, Alien Country Superfan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I absolutely love the concept! It's nice to hear the rock and roll elements with edge to match the venom and humor of the themes. A project that serious music listeners should appreciate regardless of root genre." - James Moore, CEO of IMP Inc.
